I know, I've said that so many times, and I never end up having much time for blogging or reading others' blogs. I'm sorry, and I do plan to make more of an effort (again). There are so many things I've wanted to blog about in the past month or so, and of course I managed to drop the ball on the February photo challenge. It's not that I haven't been taking a dozen or more photos a day, I simply can't seem to get them uploaded.
This morning I needed something to help me procrastinate on studying for my licensure exam that's coming up this Saturday. Classes are over for the semester, and I didn't have my practicum today, so it was the ideal time to cram as much knowledge as possible into my head. Needless to say, one cup of coffee and a sketch pad in my lap later, I was watching a movie and doodling instead of studying. After the credits rolled, I rubbed the bridge of my nose where my glasses perch, pushed the guilt away, and uploaded the sketches for coloring and tweaking before adding them to the blog header above. At least I can feel a little bit better that something is off my to-do list, despite the fact that there are so many things much higher in priority standings. A little relaxation never hurt anyone before a big exam, right?
As you may guess from the pictures, there have been some changes around here (although the cast of characters has only seen additions, and not everyone would fit...fear not, some are merely off doing their own thing, not gone for good). I'm looking forward to blogging and adding pictures over the next few weeks in order to catch up with the madness, and I hope you'll join me, too. Until then, try to find some leafing trees to enjoy, and breathe in the spring! :)
